Day 1: BAHIA SOLANO Depart by plane from Medellin to Bahia Solano Airport. Transfer to El Almejal Lodge, reception and welcome. Afternoon enjoy a fascinating walk along the rock trails and wooden bridges conducted by an expert guide which provides awareness about our conservation and sustainability projects, jungle species and local ecosystem. Acomodations in cabins at the lodge (D)
Day 2: WHALE WATCHING TOUR After enjoying a typical colombian breakfast, you will walk to the port and board the boat for a unforgettable experience by feeling the emotion of observing humpback blows and listening tales of 40-ton marine mammals when playing, swimming and singing. Day 3: WHALE WATCHING CAMP UTRIA NATIONAL PARK We have programmed a second chance for whale watching on the way to Utría National Park. After a 40-minute-motor-boat ride, you will arrive at the most beautiful cove in the country, Utría, where you can enjoy a swim in the placid emerald green waters of the cove, and walk along the wooden trails over mangrove swamps. Then, visit one of the few white-sand beaches in the Colombian Pacific Coast, ideal spot for snorkeling. Back to the lodge (B/L/D)
Day 4: WHALE WATCHING CAMP & CULTURAL EXPERIENCE Last boat trip to enjoy these huge mammals or enjoy a relaxed canoe excursion on the Tundo river. Free afternoon to get in touch with the richness of Afro-Colombian culture by walking along the nearby El Valle Village and approaching their lifestyle such as fishing, carving canoes, grounding rice and visiting their school and other places.
